A subathon is a stream with a clock counting down, where every sub, gift, bit and Kick adds time to it. Viewers see straight away that their support extends the stream, and you run a single clock shared by Kick and Twitch. Below you set it up from scratch and put it on your OBS scene.
In the thump dashboard go to Subathon and pick the channel the clock belongs to at the top. The subathon is shared between Kick and Twitch — you do not run two separate clocks.
"Starting time" is what appears on the clock when you press Start (two hours by default). "Bank cap" is the ceiling the clock will not grow past — leave it at zero if you do not want any limit.
In the rates table you enter, in seconds, how much time a sub and a gift add in each tier, and how much 100 bits and 100 Kicks are worth. Twitch has tiers T1/T2/T3; a Kick sub has no tier and counts as T1. Adding time for a follow is a separate toggle, off by default — a follow is far too easy to abuse.
List the categories in which the clock should stop (a break, for instance) and the ones in which it should slow down, then set the slowdown speed next to them. thump reads the stream category and pauses or slows the clock on its own. Auto-resume only undoes an auto-pause — it will never lift a pause you pressed yourself.
In the "OBS widgets" card copy the link for the mode you want to show: clock, rates, top contributors, recent additions or stats. Each mode is a separate browser source in OBS and all of them have a transparent background.
From that moment the clock counts down and events from Kick and Twitch add time by themselves. You still have manual adjustment while it runs: +1, +5 and +10 minute buttons, −5 and −10, and a field where you type any number of minutes and choose "Add" or "Set".
The widget draws nothing until the subathon is started — deliberately, so the scene does not show a dead clock after it ends. Press Start in the dashboard and refresh the source in OBS.
Usually auto-pause kicked in: the current stream category is on the pausing list. The time from those subs still goes into the bank and returns to the clock when you resume.
Kick does not distinguish subscription tiers, so every Kick sub comes in at the Tier 1 rate. If it should be worth as much as T2, raise the T1 rate.
The starting-time field is locked while the subathon is running or paused — it only changes what the next one begins with. To adjust the current clock use the manual adjustment ("Set").
